A WordCamp is an event organized by volunteers, WordPressers wanting to give up part of their time and effort with the common goal of making us to enjoy a weekend in Community. And the best thing about a WordCamp is people. It’s you, he, she, me and everyone who participates in it.

¿Por qué hacerme voluntaria/o?
Sin los voluntarios y voluntarias la WordCamp no sería posible, son parte imprescindible del equipo durante la WordCamp. Pero es que además, formar parte del equipo de voluntarios y voluntarias también te da muchas cosas:
- Experimentarás en primera persona cómo sucede todo desde dentro.
- Compartirás todo el evento con la organización, los ponentes, los patrocinadores y todos los asistentes.
- Asistirás a la cena de ponentes, organizadores y patrocinadores
- Tendrás algunos ratitos libres para asistir a esas ponencias que no querrías perderte por nada del mundo.
- Tendrás una camiseta exclusiva de voluntario/a de #WCGranada 2019 🙂
- Tu entrada corre de nuestra cuenta.

Why become a volunteer?
Without the volunteers, a WordCamp would not be possible, they are an essential part of the team during WordCamp. In addition, being part of the team of volunteers also gives you many things:
- You will experience in first person how everything happens from within.
- You will share the entire event with the organizers, speakers, sponsors and all the attendees.
- You will attend the dinner of speakers, organizers and sponsors.
- You will have some free time to attend those presentations that you would not want to miss for anything in the world.
- You will have an exclusive #WCGranada 2019 volunteer T-shirt 🙂
- Your ticket is on us.

¡Bien! ¡Quieres formar parte del equipazo! ¿En qué podrás ayudar?
Son muchos los preparativos previos, durante y post WordCamp. Por eso los voluntarios y voluntarias son un pilar fundamental en el funcionamiento de estos días. Las tareas en las que participarás como voluntario/a son:
- Preparación, organización y entrega de acreditaciones
- Preparación, organización y entrega de swag
- Asistencia a ponentes
- Ayudar en el montaje de las salas
- Atención a patrocinadores
- Colaborar en los momentos de café y comida
- Control de tiempos en salas
- Control de micrófonos en salas durante la ronda de preguntas
- Logística en general
- Ayudar a los asistentes resolviendo dudas, acompañándolos y fomentando en buen rollo 🙂
- Ayudar en la comunicación del evento

There are many previous preparations, during and post WordCamp. That is why the volunteers are a essential pillar these days for the WordCamp to run properly. The tasks in which you will participate as a volunteer are:
- Preparation, organization and accreditations hand-over
- Preparation, organization and swag hand-over
- Speakers Assistance
- Help in the halls set-up
- Sponsors Service
- Collaborate in coffee and food breaks
- Halls time control
- Microphones control in the halls during the round of questions
- Logistics in general
- Help attendees answering questions, accompanying them and encouraging them to provide a good environment. 🙂
- Help in the communication tasks of the event
